10-Minute Apple Puff Pastry Dessert
Ingredients:

500g puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)

3 apples, peeled and grated

50g sugar

5g (about 1 tsp) cinnamon

1 egg (for brushing)
Instructions:

Prep the filling:
Peel and grate the 3 apples into a medium bowl.
Mix in the sugar and cinnamon until evenly combined. -
Roll out the puff pastry:
Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the pastry into a rectangle (if not pre-rolled). -
Add filling:
Spread the apple mixture evenly over half of the puff pastry. -
Fold and seal:
Fold the pastry over the filling like a turnover or cut into strips and twist (your choice!). Press the edges to seal if doing turnovers. -
Brush with egg wash:
Beat the egg and brush it over the top of the pastry for a golden finish. -
Bake:
Place on a parchment-lined tray and bake at 200°C (390°F) for about 15–20 minutes, or until golden and puffy.
