Whether you’re craving breakfast, lunch, or dessert, these traditional Southern Peach Fritters will satisfy your sweet tooth. They are quite delicious with their sugary peaches and crunchy outside.
What You Need: Amount of Ingredient
2/3 cup of granulated sugar, 1 cup of all-purpose flour, and 1/4 cup of baking powder. fraction of a teaspoon
Use 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
Half a teaspoon of cinnamon root
Half a teaspoon of ground nutmeg
The egg Milk for two huge 1-third cup of vanilla extract one teaspoon
Peaches, fresh and diced roughly two medium-sized peaches, or 1½ cups

Instructions:
Get the batter ready: Mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg) in a medium bowl. Using a separate dish, mix the milk, eggs, and vanilla together. Toss the dry ingredients with the liquid ones and mix until everything is incorporated.
Toss in the peaches. Mix in the sliced peaches gently until they’re spread evenly.
To begin, bring a large pan or deep fryer of vegetable oil to a temperature of 350°F, or 175°C, over medium heat.
To make the fritters, gently drop two or three teaspoons of batter into the heated oil and press down a little. To get a golden brown and crispy finish, cook for two to three minutes on each side. After that, pour out any leftover grease by transferring to a paper towel-lined dish.
Combine powdered sugar with dust: Use powdered sugar to coat fritters.
For serving, keep warm and top with honey, ice cream, or enjoy plain.
