Ingredients:
1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded fontina cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Slow Cooker: Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray or a little olive oil.
Layer the Ingredients: Pour half of the marinara sauce into the bottom of the slow cooker. Add half of the cheese tortellini on top of the sauce. Dollop half of the ricotta cheese over the tortellini. Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, and fontina cheeses. Add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning.
Repeat the Layers: Pour the remaining marinara sauce on top, followed by the rest of the tortellini, ricotta, and shredded cheeses.
Add Alfredo Sauce: Drizzle the Alfredo sauce over the top of the layers. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if using.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours, until the tortellini is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley or basil if desired, and serve warm. Enjoy your rich and cheesy four-cheese tortellini!
