Savory Cajun Chicken over Creamy Parmesan Linguine

Ingredients

For the Cajun Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

For the Creamy Parmesan Linguine:

  • 8 oz linguine

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:
    Boil linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Season and Sear the Chicken:
    Rub Cajun seasoning all over chicken breasts. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden. Remove and let rest, then slice.

  3. Make the Cream Sauce:
    In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 min). Add cream, and simmer for 2–3 minutes. Stir in Parmesan until smooth and melted. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

  4. Combine:
    Toss cooked linguine in the creamy sauce. Plate and top with sliced Cajun chicken.

  5. Garnish & Serve:
    Sprinkle with parsley and a little extra Parmesan if you’re feeling fancy!
