Philly Cheesesteak Sliders

. They’re a miniaturized version of the classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich, perfect for parties or gatherings.
Here’s a general recipe:
Ingredients:
1-1.5 lbs Thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin are traditional)
1 large Onion, thinly sliced
2-3 Bell peppers (green, red, or a mix), thinly sliced
4-6 oz Provolone cheese, sliced or shredded
Slider buns or small rolls
2-3 tablespoons Olive oil or butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
1.Prepare the vegetables: Heat the olive oil or butter in a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers and cook until softened and slightly caramelized, about 8-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.
2.Cook the beef: In the same skillet or griddle, add a little more oil or butter if needed. Add the thinly sliced beef in batches (don’t overcrowd the pan) and cook quickly, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through. Season with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder and onion powder. You can also add a splash of Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor.
3.Combine beef and vegetables: Return the cooked onions and peppers to the skillet with the beef and mix well.
4.Assemble the sliders: Slice the slider buns or rolls in half. Place a generous portion of the beef and vegetable mixture on the bottom halves of the buns. Top with provolone cheese slices or shredded cheese.
5.Melt the cheese: You have a couple of options for melting the cheese:
-Oven: Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and broil for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Watch them closely to prevent burning.
-Skillet/Griddle: You can also cover the skillet or griddle with a lid for a minute or two to allow the cheese to melt from the residual heat.
6.Top and serve: Place the top halves of the buns on the sliders and serve immediately.
