Steak with Creamy Garlic Sauce
If you’re looking for a simple and tasty meal, this Steak with Creamy Garlic Sauce is perfect! It’s rich, comforting, and sure to impress anyone at your dinner table.
Ingredients:
- 2 pieces Ribeye steak (about 250 g each)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 50 g butter
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Directions:
-
Prepare the steak: Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. This helps them cook more evenly. Season both sides of the steaks with salt and pepper.
-
Cook the steak: Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat and melt 25 g of butter in it. When the butter starts to foam, add the steaks. Cook each side for about 4-5 minutes to get a nice medium-rare, or until they are cooked to your liking. Once done, take the steaks out of the pan and let them rest on a plate.
-
Make the creamy garlic sauce: In the same pan, add the remaining 25 g of butter along with the minced garlic. Sauté the garlic for about 1-2 minutes until it’s golden and smells amazing. Be careful not to burn it!
-
Add the cream: Turn the heat down to medium-low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well to mix it with the garlic, and let it simmer for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens a little. Season with salt and pepper to your taste.
-
Finish the dish: Add the chopped fresh parsley to the sauce and mix it well.
-
Serve: Slice the steaks if you want and put them on plates. Pour the creamy garlic sauce over the steaks, and add a few sprigs of fresh parsley on top for a nice touch.
