Ingredients:
8 large flour tortillas
2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
1/2 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
1/2 cup diced onions (optional)
1 teaspoon taco seasoning
Cooking spray or oil for brushing
Fresh cilantro or green onions, chopped (for garnish)
For Dipping Sauce:
Salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for serving
Instructions:
1-Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2-Assemble the Quesadilla Filling
In a bowl, mix together shredded cheese, cooked chicken, bell peppers, onions, and taco seasoning.
3-Assemble the Quesadilla Ring:
Place a flour tortilla on a flat surface. Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the filling onto one half of the tortilla, then fold it in half to create a half-moon shape. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
4-Arrange the Ring:
Arrange the folded quesadillas in a circular ring shape on the prepared baking sheet, slightly overlapping each one so they form a complete circle.
5-Bake:
Lightly brush or spray the tops of the quesadillas with oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the quesadillas are golden brown and crispy.
6-Serve:
Place a bowl of salsa, guacamole, or sour cream in the center of the ring for dipping. Garnish with fresh cilantro or green onions if desired.
This Blooming Quesadilla Ring is crispy, cheesy, and perfect for dipping—an absolute crowd-pleaser!
