Italian Seasoned Chicken: Flavorful, Spicy, and Juicy!

Ingredients:
2 packets of Italian dressing mix
1/2 tbsp paprika ️
1/2 tbsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste) ️
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp vinegar (white or apple cider)
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup water
4-6 chicken pieces (drumsticks or thighs)
1 small green bell pepper, chopped (optional) ️
Instructions:
Prepare the Marinade:
In a large bowl, mix the Italian dressing packets, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, vinegar, olive oil, and water. Stir until well combined.
Marinate the Chicken:
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or for a more intense flavor, marinate for 2-3 hours.
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Bake the Chicken:
Place the marinated chicken in a baking dish, adding the chopped green bell pepper if desired for extra flavor. Pour any remaining marinade over the chicken.
Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Baste the chicken with the marinade halfway through cooking to keep it moist.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with your favorite sides!
