️ California Chili Cheeseburger Sliders ️
Mini burgers stacked with juicy beef, melty cheese, homemade chili, and creamy avocado — all in one perfect bite!
Ingredients:
For the Sliders:

1 lb ground beef (80/20 for juicy burgers)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder
-
Salt & pepper to taste

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls work great)

6 slices pepper jack cheese (cut in half)
-
1 ripe avocado, sliced
-
1 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)

Butter for toasting buns
For the Quick Chili:

1/2 lb ground beef
-
1/2 cup chopped onion
-
1 clove garlic, minced
-
1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
-
1/2 tsp chili powder
-
1/4 tsp cumin
-
Salt to taste
-
Optional: a few pinches of cayenne for heat
Instructions:
1. Make the Quick Chili:

In a skillet over medium heat, brown 1/2 lb ground beef with onion and garlic.

Add crushed tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, and salt. Simmer 10–15 minutes until thickened. Set aside.
2. Make the Burger Patties:

Mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.

Divide into 12 equal portions and form mini patties.

Cook on a griddle or skillet over medium-high heat for ~3 minutes per side or until done. Add pepper jack slices in the last minute to melt.
3. Toast the Buns:

Lightly butter and toast the slider buns on the skillet or in the oven until golden.
4. Assemble the Sliders:

Bottom bun → small scoop of chili → cheesy burger patty → avocado slice → red onion (if using) → top bun.
