Creamy Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet

Here’s a crave-worthy Creamy Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet recipe — ultra-comforting, rich, and packed with flavor just like your favorite steakhouse-inspired dish!

Ingredients:

  • 2 large chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 2 tbsp butter (Texas Roadhouse-style = sweet + whipped)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

  • 1 tsp honey (Texas twist!)

  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add to skillet and sear until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant (30 seconds).

  4. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits. Let it reduce slightly.

  5. Stir in heavy cream, parmesan, and honey. Simmer until it thickens (about 3–5 minutes).

  6. Return chicken to skillet, coat well with sauce. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes.

  7. Garnish with parsley and a final pat of butter for that signature Texas Roadhouse richness.

Serving Suggestion:

Serve over mashed potatoes, buttered rice, or warm dinner rolls (like Texas Roadhouse rolls!).
