Delicious Cobbler Pie
A cozy dessert with bubbling fruit and a buttery biscuit topping — rustic, simple, and irresistibly good!
Choose Your Fruit:
You can use fresh or frozen fruit. Popular choices include:

Ingredients (for a 9-inch pie dish):
For the Filling:

4 cups sliced fresh or frozen fruit (peaches, berries, etc.)

1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to sweetness of fruit)

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp cornstarch (or 2 tbsp flour, for thickening)

1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional, especially for apple or peach)
For the Cobbler Topping:

1 cup all-purpose flour
-
1/3 cup granulated sugar
-
1 tsp baking powder
-
1/4 tsp salt
-
1/2 cup milk
-
1/4 cup (4 tbsp) melted butter
-
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie or baking dish.
2. Make the Filling:

In a bowl, toss fruit with sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and cinnamon.

Pour into the prepared dish.
3. Make the Topping:

In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla until just combined.

Spoon dollops of batter over the fruit — no need to spread, it will spread as it bakes.
4. Bake:

Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the fruit is bubbling around the edges.
5. Cool & Serve:

Let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. Best with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream!
