Garlic Butter Bacon Alfredo Pizza Twists

Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade pizza dough)

For the Filling:

  • 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 6 slices cooked bacon, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

For the Garlic Butter:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  2. Prepare the dough:
    Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

  3. Assemble the filling:

    • Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce over half of the dough (lengthwise).

    • Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped bacon, and Italian seasoning.

  4. Fold and cut:

    • Fold the plain half of the dough over the filled half.

    • Gently press down to seal.

    • Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to cut the dough into strips about 1 to 1½ inches wide.

  5. Twist and arrange:

    • Take each strip, twist it a few times, and place it on the prepared baking sheet.

    • Leave a little space between each twist for expansion while baking.

  6. Brush with garlic butter:

    • Mix the melted butter and minced garlic.

    • Brush the tops of the twists generously with the garlic butter.

  7. Bake:

    • Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  8. Finish:

    • Once out of the oven, brush with more garlic butter and sprinkle with fresh parsley, if desired.
