Pizza Grilled Cheese Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of sandwich bread (white, sourdough, or your fave)

  • 2 tbsp butter, softened

  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 8 slices pepperoni (or more! optional: cooked sausage, mushrooms, etc.)

  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano

  • Optional: grated parmesan & red pepper flakes


‍ Instructions:

  1. Butter one side of each bread slice.

  2. On the non-buttered side, spread pizza sauce, then top with mozzarella, pepperoni, and a sprinkle of oregano.

  3. Place the second slice of bread on top (butter side out).

  4. Grill in a skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and the cheese is melty.

  5. Optional: Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
