Pizza Grilled Cheese

Pizza Grilled Cheese – The ultimate mashup of two comfort food legends!
Crispy, cheesy, saucy, and gooey — this quick recipe is perfect for lunch, dinner, or that late-night craving.


Ingredients (for 2 sandwiches):

  • 4 slices of Italian bread or sourdough

  • 4 tbsp butter (softened)

  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or mini pepperoni)

  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce

  • Optional: pinch of Italian seasoning, grated Parmesan, and crushed red pepper flakes


Instructions:

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.

  2. On the non-buttered side, spread pizza sauce.

  3. Add mozzarella, pepperoni, and a dash of seasoning.

  4. Top with another slice, buttered side out.

  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook until golden and crispy on both sides (about 3-4 mins per side).

  6. Slice & dip in more pizza sauce if you dare!
