I make soup when I can for people in and around my little town. Today is chicken pot pie soup day I have 68 qts on the go some donate so I can continue, some don’t. I love my little town lots of elderly, some sick some down on their luck
some just love soup

YallI am not a go by recipie person I go by taste ,smell and texture. I learned from my grandmas 1 is French and 1 German , I made approx 70 quarts and i used:
I use about 15# flour mixed in batches with an egg and hot water. Roll out and make pot pie noodles. Boil up add oil and put aside.
I did 20# chicken breast baked seasoned with sage, poultry season, garlic and onion powder and bake… when done shred
In a pot with oil sauté fresh garlic, onion, celery. Cook until soft
Add 2 cups flour and cook for 10 min. Add shredded chicken and carrots, corn, peas and green beans
I added 1/2 gallon of half and half to each pot. Fill up to 3/4 with chicken broth. Add parsley, pepper, thyme, pepper cook ( I cooked mine slow for hrs but you can do however long. I thicken a little with a roux don’t make too thick starches in the po
